First Writing Prompt:
Imagine you are at a party and come across two people. Jeff says, “I work so hard every day and I’m not paid enough.” Mark raises his glass and says, “I work in the same field, make the same salary, and I feel so incredibly lucky.” Which person would you prefer talking to?
Life is hard and our brains are always searching for advantages so we are subconsciously attracted to people who smile or display jewelry or polished shoes. We want that good fortune to rub off on us.
